Shallot

Our shallot are supplied from contract farmers in Sisaket, Petchaboon, Uttaradit, Phayao, and Chiang mai which are provinces produce the most shallot in Thailand. We have warehouse for cleaning and cutting shallot. We also have cold storage warehouse so that we can stock for the whole year. Warehouse is also available for rent in case anyone need space for shallot cutting. We have 150 cutting workers. The products are sold both single-cut shallot and bunch of shallot.

Harvest
Shallot

  • When it is time to harvest shallot plant bulbs, after digging the bulbs, shake off the dirt, they are dried on the floor. Their bulbs and leaves will become completely dry after that.
  • Apart from the first method as Picture 1, the shallots can be hanged in the warehouse as this. After drying, they are tied together, put in sacks and transported to the cutting area.

Storage &
Cutting Process

The shallots are transported to cold storage warehouse for cutting. After cutting, the selective seizing of the shallots

  1. Big size (bigger than 3 cm ) , middle size (2.5 cm) and small size (smaller than 2 cm )
  2. After cleaning, the bunch shallots will be braided the top. Each bunch is 300 – 400 grams.
